Shan Cooper and Nutritionist Sofie van Kempen will be back in store to run their very popular, sell out fermenting & gut health workshop. Where they discuss the importance of gut health, why it is trending at the moment, what your gut health impacts and how to have a healthy gut. The girls also talk about ways to improve your gut health through mindful eating, homemade remedies and discuss how you could benefit from incorporating fermented foods in your life.

The girls will demonstrate how to make your own: 

  • aloe water 

  • digestive tonic

  • kombucha

  • coconut yoghurt

  • fermented vegetables

  • bone broth

Samples of products the girls love will be tasted on the night also to give you an idea of great products available on the market if you don’t wish to make it all at home.

Sofie will also share her story with her autoimmune condition (colitis - Inflammatory bowel disease) which stemmed from a couple of parasites housing in her gut. The girls will also be touching on leaky gut conditions, IBS, Inflammatory bowel diseases, coeliac disease, healing & sealing gut lining and much more.

The workshop will include time for questions and discussion at the end. 

What you need to bring: just yourself. We will be sending out the recipes in an email afterward the workshop so it is up to you if you want to bring a pen and paper along. 

Note: this workshop is not a hands on workshop for attendees however we demonstrate hands on up the front of the class.

TICKET:

Costing $45 per head, includes a workshop ticket with recipes.

Sofie produces fermenting kits with Yogi Beer and her Kombucha SCOBY kits & pouches as well as Kefir kits will be available to purchase below discounted as well as after the workshop. Pre orders will receive the discount to assist in production.
