Nutritionist Sofie van Kempen and Shan Cooper from My Food Religion are back in store this time running a NEW keto / low carb snacks and treats workshop! This is their first round of running these workshops, which we are lucky to host in store so be quick they will sell out. You do not have to be following a keto or eating a low carb diet to come along and enjoy this workshop it is really designed for everyone who is wanting to eat well.
Whether you are low carb, keto or just trying to maximise your nutrition, Sof and Shan have a load of delicious recipes to keep you fueled and nutritionally sound. Low carb doesn’t need to mean steamed broccoli and grilled chicken and keto is more than bacon with a side of butter! These workshops aren’t designed to starve yourself or calorie count they are designed to educate you about properly fuelling your body with real food in a delicious and enjoyable way.
This workshop is perfect for anyone who is trying to decrease their sugar intake, aiming to eat more plants as well as make smarter balanced meal choices. The girls will also briefly chat about keto and low carb, why the diets were designed, what is actually happening in your body when following those diets and how they are individually tailored to all as well as debunk some myths around the topics.

Fermented fruit smoothies & nice creams (we teach you how to ferment fruit)

What you need to bring: just yourself. We will be sending out the recipes in an email afterward the workshop so it is up to you if you want to bring a pen and paper along.
Note: this workshop is not a hands on workshop for attendees however we demonstrate hands on up the front of the class.
